How you can help
If you have a love of this wonderful and unique breed, here is how you can help.
Our dogs need ‘Forever Loving Homes‘. Remember, they have come from a home which can no longer for one reason or another keep them. This does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with the dog. It is more than likely that circumstances have changed and the dog is now subject to those changes. We usually have 20 to 30 dogs of all ages, colours and coat types looking for new families to love them forever. Many are well adjusted dogs who are victims of their family’s circumstances and simply need new homes. Some may need work and deserve a second chance. For people with the experience and the patience, the rewards are beyond measure. Adopt here
We welcome the following support:
- Home checkers to visit and vet prospective adopters to see if they are suitable people to re-home a Shar Pei
- Short term kennelling for dogs that urgently need to be removed from their owners
- Foster carers that provide short term kennelling and rehabilitation for those Shar Pei needing nursing back to health before re-homing.
- People with disabilities. If your abilities are challenged by physical, mental or emotional health issues, you can help us and make a difference. For more information click here.
All donations are gratefully received, no matter how small – they all make a difference!
We are run as a Trust and not as a business. We receive no aid from any government or official bodies and fully rely on your generosity. Thanks to the loyal and dedicated support of our volunteers, all income received goes directly to the dogs. Donate here
