Phoebe and Liz

I think that a rescue dog is not a problem dog, you just have to go with the flow and be patient. We feel her personality is shining through the more she trusts us.

On first arriving to her new home Phoebe had to adjust to a pack as she has two fellow dog friends. She was not keen on touching her belly and feet but we have conquered that but her dewclaws are still a no zone area.

We are working on her recall but for peace of mind we keep her close or on the lead.  She loves the beach and we can let her off and explore but we keep her close. She has a quirky habit of nibbling your hand or clothes to get your attention and she will join in with play.

She was nervous sitting next to us but over time this tension seems to have eased and she will let you stoke her without her feeling she has to move.  We feel her personality is shining through the more she trusts us.  Another little habit she like to do is drink your coffee or tea, so if you leave your drink unguarded she will just help herself.

Phoebe loves caravanning and she loved it so much she has now abandoned her bed and prefers our beds permanently.  We keep in to touch with her previous owners to show her that she is in good hands and is she is thriving.
